About these water-temperature readings
These are measured USGS water temperatures, not air temperatures or forecasts. Fahrenheit is converted from the reported Celsius measurement. Each observation applies to its gauge location; conditions can differ elsewhere on the river.
“Recent” means observed within 6 hours. The finder checks its shared data source approximately every 15 minutes while in use. Missing readings are not estimated, and older observations are not presented as current.
Gauge pages include 7- and 30-day temperature charts where a compatible sensor series is available. Observations may be provisional and revised. A temperature alone is not a fishing prediction or a swimming-safety rating.
